my hair is getting so long

i can't wear it down

or it poofs out like cori's coat (the cat)

isn't it weird to think that

two years ago, my hair was getting long

and i remember thinking

to cut it off was to start anew

and i did, sometime in the summer

but it didn't feel any better

and i was kind of sort of

a brat. maybe if i let it grow this time

then i'll keep growing

and growing

and growing, and

just never
