Dear Sam,
There once was a girl with so many shoes that they leaked out from her closet and onto her floorboards every night before she went to bed. And every night she spent exactly an hour cleaning up the mess, until each shoe was back in its tightly fit place in her closet.
There once was a girl with so many shoes that she could never remember which ones she already owned. And every night before she went to bed, she sat on the very edge of her mattress and slipped each pair onto her small snowy feet. Just to familiarize herself with them.
There once was a girl with so many shoes that she couldn't decide which ones to throw out. It pained her to rid her life of anything, and so... big, small, old, new--she saved them all.
There once was a girl with so many shoes that she actually never wore shoes at all. And every morning she'd pass her closet and walk out the door with a smile sandwiched between her cheeks and two blank canvases on her feet.

Sam, sometimes it's nice to just be... blank.
Love, Sam
